It’s Just a Mixer, Nothing Else.

My “Mix Daddy 3000”

YUSWKO Black Handheld Milk Frother

This isn’t just a milk frother… It’s got a dough hook and a whisk attachment. But…

I’m sure the title gives it away a little, but this is basically only good for being a milk frother and drink mixer. I’ll break it down below, but I really tried to use the other attachments and give them their best shot at being useful. They.. sigh.

What it does right:

  • Rechargeable

Not having to replace the battery or deal with it getting slower and slower as it drains is nice. Consistent power and just throw it on the same charger I use for my phone since it’s type-C.

  • Variable Speed Settings

I really do appreciate the 3 speeds this little guy has. Nothing is more frustrating than watching your coffee and creamer spiral out the top of your dang cup because your mixer only knows how to make funnels…

What it does wrong:

  • Useless Attachments

I tried the dough hook on actual bread dough, cake batter, and more. It just can’t go… once the dough wraps around it. Most of the time, it just spins, making a hole in the dough… the whisk is ok, but I just use the frother end to mix my drinks or coffee… I mean, why swap them out?

  • Charging Weirdness

I love the Type-C charging, like I said, it uses the same cord for all my things now. Although… When I put it on my multi-charger, it doesn’t charge. I have a single cable on my desk that goes straight into the surge protector, and it charges fine. I assume it has something to do with type-C “calling” for certain power ranges, and maybe the mixer ain’t that smart, and the multi plug just shrugs it off?

  • Super Speed

The high speed is… a bit much. If you want to seriously make cream out of your milk, it’s great. I would rather see it have more torque and handle the bread dough.

Does it belong in YOUR kitchen?

Full disclosure? I drink a lot of those Kool-Aid packets… I use this thing at least twice a day and have since I got it. I am truly sad that the attachments are kinda useless. I had high hopes for those. The frother is great too, for actual milk, I mean, it does a great job. I make crazy thick frothed milk for a latte once in a while… If you do a lot of drink flavor packets and coffee like me, it’s got a place in your kitchen.
